I work as a cashier. Suppose I wear my rings to work, would it not be good for me to handle peoples' credit cards? *shrugs* I really don't know. Also, we have those pads that "demagnetize" strips that set off alarms at the door, would those "demagnetize" my rings? Which brings up the question, is there any threat of the rings decreasing in effectiveness over time? If so, what time frame etc?... Thanks!

answer:

Why do you wear them at work? Don't the rings make you sleepy? The weaker rings (regular eternal life rings), which I have sent you, is okay. Don't use neodymium rings around credit cards though if you plan to buy one of those.. Nothing will demagnetize the rings. Don't worry.
