I have Surgical Steel in my body

Dear Alex, I have a surgical steel rod running the entire length of my right femur, and six surgical steel screws in the right hip and femur. What adverse effect, if any, would the foot braces have on my right leg. I've been told never to undergo a MRI. Sincerely, Ben
